When the author's acclaimed book about an elderly man's travels was converted into a 2023 film, it included a few charming tracks by Sam Lee. More recently, fellow folk artist Passenger created the music and lyrics for the theatrical version, which will relocate to the West End in the new year. Passenger's album of musical interpretations, One for the Road – including bonus material that didn't make the theatrical show and a guest appearance from actor Jack Wolfe, who portrayed the show's Balladeer – is currently available to stream.
